Ever hit “send” too fast… and immediately regretted it?
Typos, wrong names, weird phrases that sounded smart in your head… We’ve all been there. 😅
When it comes to professional emails, proofreading isn’t just about grammar.
It’s about making sure:
✔️ Your message is clear and free of errors
✔️ Your tone is appropriate
✔️ All fact, dates, names, and numbers are accurate
✔️ The right attachment is mentioned and actually attached.
✔️ YouCC’d or BBC’d the right people.
Because sometimes one small mistake can turn your “dessert strategy” into a total disaster.
What’s one email typo you’ll never forget?
Here’s mine: I once asked a client “to *sing* the documents” before sending them back to me.
Luckily, we both had a good laugh. 😅
